Flag of Fortuna
Fortuna is a unitary totalitarian dictatorship island nation. The nation makes up all of the Aspirian Isles off the East coast of the Yasterian continent, sharing maritime borders with Sorentavia, Fusō, Isklevyu, Auraliyu, and the Packilvanian enclave of Antimovo. Its capital is Destino. Settlement in what would become Fortuna began in 20,000 BCE, but the Aspirian Isles would remain largely fragmented until a series of conquests led to the the formation of the First Fortunan Empire in 1017 CE. This state would last until its collapse in the 1644 as a result of the Great Civil War, after which the islands were fragmented for the following three centuries. The steady reconsolidation of the islands, combined with the rise of the Unitary Nationalist Party, lead to the reunification of the Fortunan Archipelago and the creation of the Second Fotunan Empire as a fascist dictatorship. Fortuna has a GDP of $555.3 billion, with its economy largely fueled by agricultural, technological, and weapons exports. (Full article...)
