This is a timeline of notable world history events.

Before the 2nd millennium BCE

• 100,000 BCE: Cava in South West Aurora develop agriculture, though later return to hunter-gathering due to glaciation.
• 19650 BCE: Chargestone Supervolcano eruption: The most violent eruption in the past 30,000 years with a VEI of 8. The eruption was so devastating that it blocked out the sun around the world for almost a decade and possibly had a 1,000-year-long cooling episode. This has led to the Chargestone catastrophic theory that due to the eruption, it caused a population bottleneck in 95.7% of all life on Urth and acted as a “soft reset”.
• 12000 BCE: The last Ice Age ends.
• 3400 BCE: Evidence of proto-writing by the Elves in Alva in the form of the Urgabom Script.
• 2230 BCE: The city of Laqytia is founded within the Teba mountains of the Axdelian Peninsula.
• 2200 BCE: Quadratic equations, in the form of problems relating the areas and sides of rectangles, are solved by Valerians.

2nd millennium BCE

• ~2000-1500 BCE: Evidence dated to this period points to the beginnings of an early form of Verk'ohism in the modern regions of Marislia and Baykalia.
• 2000 BCE: Fractions were first studied by the Valerians in their study of Valerian fractions.
• c. 1800 BCE: The Great Vanishing occurs, bringing an end to many Auroran nation-states, most notably the Kingdoms of Terliva, Eruk, and Sihvli, the Empire of Nelokhvi, and the Fiefdoms of Fendelkh.
• 1800 BCE: The first written records of the State of Ni, one of the predecessors of Ni-Rao, date to this century.
• 1900 BCE: First recorded Discovery of Driesic Law, later Driesic Theorum by the Proto-Vistari in modern-day South Hills.
• 1600 BCE: The Kingdom of Rao, the second of Ni-Rao's two predecessor states, was established in the highlands east of Ni.
• 1500 BCE: Laqytian civilisation collapses, resulting in a three century dark age.

1st millennium BCE

• ~900 BCE: In the Merger of the Crowns, Ni and Rao unite into a single country known as the August Empire of Ni-Rao. Historical records from both states claim that they were the state to conquer the other. The first era of Raonite pyramid building also begins at this time, under Emperor Ramar, the first Emperor of united Ni-Rao.
• 8th century BCE: The earliest documented mention of a spherical Urth comes from the Valerians.
• 8th century BCE: The four oracles travel South-West Aurora, marking the beginning of Kozam.

• 6th century BCE: First recorded worship of Ayalagch, beginning the formation of the Ayalist religion.

• 6th century BCE: Rise of the Ulvrikian Empire, first and only time Northern Concord was fully united into one empire.
• 648-646 BCE: The Sacking of Nilovia by the City State of Shalisi. The event is often marked as a cultural shift in Southeast Aurora, and with it bringing about the early beginnings of the Kveshi Empire.
• 621 BCE: The Nobility of Er reaches its territorial height under King Meloke. In the same year, the Nobility of Er would merge with The Fiefdom of Fughala to form the Kingdom of Suvol under King Relik I.
• 523 BCE: Ennulus Jakatei Kalamitas reforms the Kormistazic confederacy into an empire.

• 235 BCE: Impelanta III is crowned Queen of Arsal after the Lespanzan conspiracy and murder of her brother, Antares I. By Tunseist and historical convention, this event marks the beginning of Impelanza.
• 204 BCE: The Great Migration sees a majority of the Proto-Vistari people sail from Concord to the Isle of Krommentrum, settling first in the modern-day region of Koersland.
• ~150 BCE: The Norvians come in contact with Novaris, landing and settling in Dallacqua.

1st millennium CE

1st century

• January 1st, 1 CE: A meteor impacts the Greater Tear of the Moon in modern-day Tavaris. The meteor is seen and recorded by several cultures across the world, including Impelanza. Because of this wide documentation of the event across cultures, this impact is later used as the epoch of the Common Era calendar, the international standard calendar for commerce and diplomacy.

2nd century

• 2nd century CE: In the Usprian Wars, Usprian lands shrink considerably further south in Aurora, where at some point the human Maltervenian Empire annexes the Mouth of Elaspin, a major north-south Auroran trade route that passes through the Zycannes for the first time.
• c. 129-135 CE: The Azure Wars take place, marking the establishment of the Grand Monarchy of Salovia.

3rd century

• 277: Lunarism's Elder Council is founded, establishing Lunarism as an organized religion.
• 278: Salovian King Orev IV dies of the Hasoni Plague, the first known instance of the disease. With his death, the Salovian Age of the Elves begins with the ascension of Melit'hasa elf Ærik I.

4th century

• 345: The first Norvians land on Aurora, in modern Emberwood Coast, regularly raiding and conquering Kormistazic coastal provinces in the following decades.

5th century

• 494: The Salovian Age of the Elves ends with the crowing of human King Rorik IV. This also marks the beginning of the First Salovian Golden Age.

6th century

• ~500: Ni-Rao enters into a significant period of decline, known as the Raonite Dark Age. Military threats to the east, as well as economic decline, cause the first era of Raonite pyramid and monument building to end. The Dark Age would last for about 3 centuries.
• 512: Toré eruption: The most violent eruption in the past 5,000 years. Ejecting over 400 million tonnes of sulfur into the atmosphere, the eruption led to a mini Ice Age. Ash deposits reached every continent and the event is considered to have triggered the Dark Ages.

• 513: Arsal falls to the 513 Grand Noble Revolution. The House of the Impeles, who ruled the last remains of Impelanza, is expulsed from the city and the Arsalian Alliance is established, in what is historiographically considered the Fall of Impelanza.

7th century

• 600s: Asatru is organized into an official religion through the help of the poet Nori Snorrison.
• 642: The last Norvian kingdom in the Axdelian Peninsula is destroyed by the Rulique Confederacy
• 673: Erik I becomes the second Salovian king to die from the Hasoni Plague.

8th century

• 700: The Age of the Plague begins in Salovia. The three-wave epidemic spanning 125 years resulted in the deaths of between 350,000 and 500,000 individuals.
• 724: The Second Kormistazic empire is founded

9th century

• 831: The Melit'hasa Coup takes place, creating the short-lived Second Kingdom of Melit'hasa.
• 890: Arin II coups a fracturing Ethalria, and installs a matriarchy that would last over a thousand years. She is later given the epithet the Great.
• 842: The Second Kingdom of Melit'hasa is defeated by Salovia in the Battle of Mat’lis Mta.

10th century

• 911: Salovian King Eric abdicates without naming an heir, ushering in the second Succession Crisis. Six months later, Yuria of Velianebi House becomes the first Queen of Salovia. Her ruling tactics and policies defined the following century, aptly known as The Yurian Rule.
• 968: Clarityism is officially founded.
• 972: Staynes is formed after the collapse of the Maltervenian Empire.
• 991: Massive internal debt due to having to drive off multiple Ethalrian invasions causes the second Kormistazic Empire to fracture after internal revolt.
• 992: Lerin XVII dies, marking the Salovian Interregnum.

2nd millennium CE

11th century

• 1017: Fortunan Empire is founded.
• 1020: The Third Kormistazic empire is founded.
• 1102: Lacasse is founded, beginning the Kormistazic colonial age.
• 1032: The Nobility of Baykalia is overthrown by the Remis the Great, who reinstates the Salovian Monarchy. This also marks the beginning of the Grand Reconquest.

12th century

• 1128: Temuj becomes Khan of Alva following a brief civil war, gaining the name Gunghris Khan and founding the Alvan Empire.
• 1139: The completion of the Grand Reconquest, with the reconquest of Tivot from Caltharus and Wachovia in the Twin Wars of Tivot.
• 1140: The Second Salovian Golden Age begins.
• 1140s: Semi-Mythological Figure Aaditya Vidyarthi is credited with crafting the first fire lance, a gunpowder weapon, and ancestor of firearms, in Modern Day Suvania: a claim corroborated by archaeological evidence found in the region dating to this period.

13th century

• 1215: Staynish annexes Valeria, bringing the final Elven politically dominated nation in Aurora to an end.
• 1254: Assassination of Tugri Khan, fracturing the Alvan Empire.
• 1256: Triarchy Period ends with the establishment of the Kingdom of Tretrid. First Tretridio-Dallacquan War.

14th century

• 1310s: First record of an occarina is in Staynes.
• ~1300: Ni-Rao reaches its territorial maximum around this time. At its peak, Ni-Rao reached over the Danvreas Range into modern-day Mikubana in Bana, south all the way to Reijia, and controlled part of King's Island in Tavaris.
• 1301-1304: The Vistari States rally under the Kingdom of Vierbaak to push out the Alvan Tribes from Northern Kromentrum, forming the First Vistari Empire under Hendrik I.
• 1304: The 1,152 independent Tavari chiefdoms agree to unite under Utor, Chief of Nuvo, as King of All Tavaris, concluding more than 150 years of off-and-on civil war, to unite against invaders from Ni-Rao.
• 1304: Salovia acquires its first colonies in the form of trading ports along the eastern coast of modern-day Vivancantadia, marking the first bout of Salovian colonialism.
• 1386: Salovian mercenaries sail northwards from the ports of Vivancantadia and establish a slave trade operation in what would become Puntalia. By 1400, Salovia had redirected its colonial resources solely towards Puntalia, relinquishing its hold on the ports in Vivancantadia.

15th century

• 1400s: A series of several major plagues break out in Ni-Rao, devastating the country's population, economy, and military. Across the 15th century, 1 out of every 6 Raonites dies. Ni-Rao's domination of the region effectively ends.
• 1408: Æris the Elven Usurper becomes the fourth and final elven King of Salovia, dying in 1493.
• 1433: The islands that would later form Tortuga are invaded by Salovian mercenaries to establish a stopping point between Puerto Florosa and Tarov.
• ~1470-1490: The religion of Akronism first forms in northwestern Tavaris. According to worshippers, the goddess Akrona appeared physically on Urth at this time.
• 18 January 1493: Mount Heaven erupts in the Seligeze Islands. 23 million tons of sulfur is released, leading to a five-year drop of 1.3 °C.

16th century

• 12 March 1506 - 7 December 1509: Vistari Explorer Anton-Koen Taalen is the first to circumnavigate the globe.
• 12 January - 19 December 1515: Caltharus Throne War - Lambertus the Great unites the thrones of Staynes and Caltharus to form Morstaybishlia.
• 3 June 1560: Rosalica is formed with the Westmound Heights Agreement.
• 1562 - 1568: First Vistari-Commonwealth War, seeing the Vistari Empire face a Coalition of the Commonwealth, Riksheim and Novreheim, with the Commonwealth claiming the territory of Valerijk.
• 1575 - The Third Kormistazic Empire collapses and is annexed by the Morstaybishlian Empire.
• 17 May 1594: Kingdoms of Riksheim and Novreheim unites to the United Kingdoms of Norgsveldet.

17th century

• 1625: Milofite Armada leaves Durdneel towards modern-day Meagharia after a brief conflict with Durdneelians.
• 1634 - 1638: The Second Vistari-Commonwealth War, resulting in the reclamation of Valerijk and the assertion of Vistaraland as a Great Power as well as just a Naval Power.
• 1644: Fortunan Empire breaks apart into multiple states.
• 1650: Tretrid suffers a severe succession dispute, resulting in the War of the Tretridian Succession. Several splinter states form. South Tretridian coast seized by Lapinumbia. Tretridian West Novaris partitioned between Norgsveldet and Asendavia. Tretridian Anarchy begins.
• 1663-1672: An epidemic of the Hasoni Plague spreads through Salovia, killing between 15,000 and 25,000 individuals. Among those dead was Salovian King Yurev IV, the final king to die from Hasoni Plague.
• 1676: Hilda Wijnen, after becoming the first to cross the Northern Colonies of Valerijk, brings the Icxiotal Drinking Chocolate to the Vistari Empire, leading to the first creation of modern chocolate.
• 1680s: Tretrid reconquers remaining splinter states. Tretridian Anarchy ends.
• 1698: Caven Wars begin.
• 1700: Hanna Piano invents an acoustic, stringed musical instrument, which is soon named after her.

18th century

• 1702: Salovian King Ivan VI mysteriously disappears without an heir, beginning the third Succession Crisis.
• 1704: Caven Wars end, resulting in the hegemony of Morstaybishlian power in South East Yasteria and capitulation of the Caven Empire.
• 4 May 1709: Bursil Agreement signed, beginning over 300 years of alliance between Morstaybishlia and Vistaraland as well as minor territorial exchange between the two.
• 1731: The Voyage of Captain Ghurezhuli begins, and with it a trove of scientific advancements, primarily in taxonomy and astronomy. The territory of K'undzeti is acquired.
• 1769 - 1772: First Draken War between Vistaraland and Norgsveldet over Northeast Gondwana, seeing the public execution of Katherine I of Vistaraland and a period of downturn for the Vistari Empire.
• 1770s: The Asatru War of Religion start after the Norgsveltian King Gustaf II proclaims himself as Fylkir over the Asatru religion.
• July 13 1774: The Society of Oppositionary Ademarists is formed, declared a heresy by Emperor Bairnt I of Vistaraland.
• November 12 1776: Viktor, Gothir of Staathorpe, declares an intention to split from both the Gustafistic and mainline Gothiric Churches, forming the Viktorist Church of Asatru that quickly spread across the followers of the religion within the Vistari Empire.
• 1780: The first military submersible vessel "Skilpadden", is designed and made by the Norgsveltian inventor Bjørn Haakonson. It was the first verified submarine capable of independent underwater operation and movement,
• 1780s: Morstaybishlia is the first nation to begin the Industrial Revolution with the invention of the spinning jenny.
• 1792: Salovian King Rorin "the Terror" IV is beheaded, ending the Salovian monarchy and beginning the Era of Unrest.
• 1793: Norgsveltian Ragnal Volda and his wife Ragnild Volda and fellow scientist, believed observed electrical phenomena were caused by two different metals joined together by a moist intermediary. He verified this hypothesis through experiments and published the results.
• 1795: Vakhudan Posol establishes the Baykalian Empire.
• 1795: First Posolic War begins. It marks the deadliest Continental war for Aurora in 220 years.
• 1797: Riamin Klevins invents the slide trumpet.
• 1800: Norgsveltians Ragnal Volda and Ragnild Volda created the first true battery.

19th century

• 12 October 1805: Invention of the first iron-casted rocket by Karl Brouwer, 1st Count of Schildwijc, reintroducing the use of Rocketry in Warfare.
• 1810: First Posolic War ends.
• 1811: The Grand Republic of Salovia is formed by the Unification Ceremony in Akhalibisi.
• 1814: Second Posolic War begins, igniting Continental war for a second time.
• 20 September 1820: The first electric-powered engine is invented and patented by Folenyan cartwright Thomas Wagner.
• 1 November 1820: The First Unovian War begins.
• 15 January 1826: The First Unovian War ends, claiming 750,000 lives. Parthus gained independence from Folenya.
• 1826: Second Posolic War ends, observing the deadliest Auroran conflict up until that point. It marks a significant geopolitical shift whereby Great Morstaybishlia is considered a superpower.
• March 12 1849: "Corruptie, Leugens et Een Paerd" is written by Vistari Satirist Theodore A. Witten, forming the Holier Than Thou Church in Exoneration and Tax Exemption of Ademar and his successor Wilfred the Horse.
• 1860: The Four States Agreement is agreed to by the Aspirian states, ending centuries of instability in the region, recognizing each other as sovereign entities, resolving territorial disputes, and promoting economic cooperation.
• 6 February 1873: The first indoor ice hockey game is held at the Crystal Peak Skating Rink in Volkgoroda, Volkia.
• 21 July 1874: Salovian Chancellor Ivan Karanovi is assassinated by Baykalian nationalists.
• 24 June 1885: The Volkian Civil War begins following Volkian king Yuri IV's refusal to abdicate, leading to a parliament-supported revolt.
• 3 October 1887: Gränser Inventor Ottosilo Giovanni Freidafader, known as the Patron Saint of Volarologists, invented the first powered Airship, the rigid Freidskiff, named for his daughter Freida who is said to have helped with the invention.
• 19 February 1888: The Volkian Civil War ends and results in the creation of the Volkian Federative Republic and Tolpas.
• 1888: Table tennis is invented in South Staynes, then named whiff-whaff; it was a parlour game which involved books for nets and golf balls instead of the modern poly material balls today.
• 6 April 1890: The first diesel-powered engine is invented and patented by Oileanian/Nagatoian engineers Catlin and Franklin Diesel.
• 1897: The size of the Morstaybishlian Empire peaks following its political union with Packilvania; it is the largest colonial empire in world history.

20th century

1900s

• 1 April 1904: The Great War begins.
• 22 November 1909: Salovian Chancellor Xerol Nelovili is expelled from holding public office after it was discovered that he had secretly given up several sensitive intelligence and information to the Morstaybishlians.

1910s

• 17 October 1910: Rorik Posol becomes Chancellor of Salovia, which, under his near-32-year term, brings about a marked shift in Salovian foreign and domestic policy.
• 19 July 1917: The Great War ends, claiming the lives of over 65 million people. It is regarded as the bloodiest war in history.
• 17 August 1917: Thadeus II signs the Great Charter of the Liberties. Morstaybishlia becomes a democratic nation.
• 11 November 1917: Orson Klarass is elected as the first prime minister of Morstaybishlia.

1920s

• 1920: Cukish Revolution, the oligarchic structure of the Commonwealth of New Leganés, supported by Great Morstaybishlia and South Peragen, is defeated by the revolutionary forces backed by Norgsveldet and Alksearia, leading to the writing of the Commonwealth Constitution and the democratic Cooperative Commonwealth of New Leganés, the Oblivion Islands, and Shoneria.
• 1922: The Albanaria Vilayet is stablished following the third Packilvanian occulpation of Albanarian lands.
• 11 November 1924: The First Albanarian Civil War begins.
• 9 March 1925: The Northern Monarchist Revolt begins after an attack on a federal armory by monarchist rebels.
• 18 May 1926: Northern Monarchist Revolt ends, resulting in a government victory.
• 16 July 1929: The First Albanarian Civil War ends, resulting in Red Alliance victory.

1930s

• 14 February 1938: Gränser inventor Guillemsilo Kurt creates the first purpose-built radio telescope.

1940s

• 9 December 1941: Ethalrian chemists Sabine Ehrlich and Katrin Goehr detect barium after bombarding uranium with neutrons. This is correctly interpreted by Norogradian physicist Vince Massi as nuclear fission.

1950s

• 5 June 1953: The first nuclear weapon is detonated by the Grand Matriarchy of Ethalria in the Azure Sea, codenamed Operation Scharlachrote Morgenröte.
• 20 July 1955: Ayaupia is officially established as a new country, a federal and socialist democracy, by the three Founding Fathers.
• 28 March 1959: The Second Unovian War begins.

1960s

• 1960: The Tretridian impactor probe Mōna 1 misses Olune due to a malfunction and becomes the first artificial object in heliocentric orbit.
• 28 April 1961: Ethalrian female astronaut Almut Fichtner conducts the first manned spaceflight.
• 1 April 1966: Completion of Operation Oppermacht/Overlegenhet, with a joint Vistarian-Norgsveltian team successfully testing the first Hydrogen Bomb.
• 13 November 1966: The Second Unovian War ends, claiming 2.6 million lives. Folenya annexed Parthus, Augustia and Nagato occupy Folenyan territory at 400 kilometers south of 30 degrees South.
• 9 June 1966: Durakan scientist/engineer Dr. Laura Ansof, in her evaluation of the debris from the first Hydrogen Bomb, discovers and records the existence of the synthetic element now known as Ansofium.
• 11 November 1967: Asendavia is the first nation to land men on Olune, thwarting the Auroran Space Race.
• 16 May 1968: Morstaybishlia wins the Auroran Space Race, landing three men and the first woman on Olune.
• 4 September 1969: Auterner Astronaut Pieter-Johan Maarten, serving under the Vistari Space Program, becomes the first elf on Olune, landing alongside the first lunar plaque.

1970s

• 17 January 1970: The Auroran Imperial War begins.
• 2 January 1975: Noroist Axdel strikes the Ethalrian cities of Rivental, Karinthus, Glitzernd, and Rorikton with orbital satellite bombardment technology; dubbed 'Kevatuul' after the Kozam deity of chaos, it kills millions.
• 10 May 1975: Roneria IV of Ethalria is executed, ending a dynastic matriarchy of over a millennium. Ethalria becomes a fascist dictatorship under Delores Sofura.
• 23 July 1975: The Auroran Imperial War ends, claiming the lives of over 29.2 million people, becoming the deadliest war in Auroran history and the second deadliest conflict in the 20th century.
• 10 August 1975: Ethalria fragments into two nations; the Republic of Ethalria and the Matriarchy of Ethalria.
• 14 November 1975: International Forum signs the Cynebury Accord, which establishes international space law.
• 1 January 1976: The former Salovian nations of Tivot and Blueacia gain independence with the backing of Ethalria and Great Morstaybishlia following a referendum held in October of 1975. Salovia did not recognize their independence for the remainder of the nation's existence.
• 15 January 1976: The Weyrcliff Pact is officially signed and ratified by many Auroran nations, notably Great Morstaybishlia, Axdel, and both the Matriarchy of and the Republic of Ethalria. The Pact would form the basis of the Auroran Continental Assembly. Salovia did not sign the Weyrcliff Pact.

1980s

• January 30 1980: Albanares sees the end of a 51 year communist rule.
• 9 November 1981: Union of Commonwealth Alliances is founded.
• 18 June 1985: Salovian Chancellor Ivan Strovani is assassinated by Volovan nationalists during a visit to the city of Novugdidi, sparking the Salovian Civil War.
• 19 November 1986: After the killing of several Cava families attempting to cross the border, South Lyrevale declares war on North Lyrevale, starting the Lyrevale Civil War.
• 1989: North Concordian Economic Forum is founded
• 28 August 1987: A rebellion against the second republic starts in Albanares.

1990s

• 1 May 1990: Meremaa Civil War starts becoming a large proxy war between Norgsveldet and Great Morstaybishlia.
• 1991: The royal family is given power once more and the rebellions end in Albanares.
• 5 June 1992: The Constitutional State of the Andorinhões is officially proclaimed.
• 28 June 1992: The Grand Republic of Salovia is dissolved, with the remaining territory held by the nation falling to the Baykalian Armed Forces.
• 10 September 1996: The Noroist government of Axdel is dissolved by Huralo Yensi, ending the Axdelian Civil war.
• 20 September 1997: Harun Lunsdzhura defecates in his pants at a Morst Feed in Lantirdais, Aduraszna.
• December 21 1999: A new constitution is signed, bringing to life the Commonwealth of Albanares.

3rd millennium CE

21st century

2000s

• 22 April 2000: The Rotantic Congress is formed.
• 3 December 2001: Quartz Fern Coast's government collapses after a major controversy during its transition to democracy. Axdel is authorised by the ACA to deploy a peacekeeping force into the nation in order to prevent a civil war.
• 2002: Oscrelia annexes the region of Borova in the midst of the Salovian Civil war, kicking off the 2002 Oscrelian Consitutional Crisis.
• 9 September 2003: Arkian Confederation collapses. Arkian Civil War begins. Tretrid occupies Schlesia.
• 11 October 2003: A ceasefire in the Salovian Civil War is called, and enforced by the EPTO and the MBE. The ceasefire is considered the de facto end to the war in terms of bloodshed.
• 7 March 2004: Quartz fern coast joins the Federation of Axdel after a referendum, however a single Northern province is excepted and remains independent.
• 8 February 2005: Arkian Civil War ends, with Imperialist Faction victorious. Arkian Empire established.
• 17 October 2005: The Treaty of Astravili is signed, marking a symbolic end to the Salovian Civil War. The nations of Baykalia, Kostromastan, and Tuvaltastan are formed.
• 18 November 2006: Four suicide bombers target the Autumn Harvest Festival in Volkgoroda, killing 128 civilians in Volkia's deadliest terrorist attack.
• 1 January 2008: The Republic of Nilovia is founded after a successful independence referendum in 2007.
• 8 July 2008: The Monarchy of Nilovia replaces the Republic after a bloodless coup d'etat.
• 4 November 2008: The Nilovian Civil War begins after the UNCOP takes over the eastern half of the country.
• 8 January-18 November 2009: The War for Mortanap'iro takes place between Kostromastan and Tuvaltastan over the northeastern quarter of Tuvalt coast. Tuvaltastan handily defeats Kostromastan, leaving landlocked Kostromastan beholden to its neighbors.

2010s

• 13 March 2011: Tuvaltastan invades the breakaway Kingdom of Avutili under the guise of reclamation of lost homeland.
• 10-28 May 2014: The 2014 Dverian War occurs, resulting in the division of Dveria into north and south. The war leads to Tano joining South Hills.
• 3 December 2016: The Avutili fall to the Tuvalt military forces, with Avutili being absorbed into Tuvaltastan.

• 23 July 2019: Prime Minister Ahmet Züra-Mehdi stages a coup and assumes control of Albanares, bringing back communism to the country after 39 years of democracy. This causes the population to go out in the streets.

• 13 April 2020: The royal family is forced to flee from Albanares amid fear of being killed by the Züra-Mehdi government.
• 24 April 2020: Tuvaltastan and Ayaupia conduct the 2020 Handover Ceremony of Komertsiya Port, marking a symbolic end to the Salovian empire.
• 21 June - 10 July 2020: Rodenia, with the assistance of the Puntalian armed forces, invades Puntalia and triggers the Puntalian Crisis.
• 20 July 2020: Assassination of Frederick Gerritzoon, Grand Duke of Zijrivierland and Head of the Vistari Government by a Vorpestian Nationalist.
• 24 July 2020: July 2020 Caltharus attacks.
• July 24, 2020: Julius Karling launches a coup against the Neu Arkian government, kicking off the Karolingian Crisis. Tensions between Arkalarius and Tretrid seriously inflamed.

• July 29, 2020: A Karolingian ship is sunk by an unidentified submarine.

• 11 July 2021: A magnitude 9.2 quake and tsunami hits the southern coast of Aduraszna, killing an estimated half a million people, mostly in Nystatiszna.
• 20 August 2021: The Lantern Tower bombing, targeting senior members of the Joralesian administration and Morstaybishlian Cabinet.
• 8 October 2021: The Korobi Scandal exposé is released, revealing an extensive international trafficking network involving various politicians, businesspeople, criminals, and celebrities. The network is purported to have been initiated and perpetuated by Baykalian dictator Lady Posol, who subsequently fled into exile.
