North Dveria (Dverian: Põhja-Dveriya), officially the Republic of North Dveria (Dverian: Põhja-Dveriya Vabariik), is a country on the eastern coast of the Gulf of Itur between Yasteria and Itur. As of 2024, it has a population of approximately 7.9 million. It is bordered to the north and east by Cymoedd, to the south by South Dveria, and the Gulf of Itur to the west. Lukashek, the capital of North Dveria, and Nartu are the largest cities and urban areas in the country. Other notable cities are Karngi, Rapsuu, and Paila.
North Dveria was part of a unified state until it declared its independence from the State of Dveria on 17 May 2014 in the midst of an invasion by coalition forces. A republic was declared 11 days later, though the first parliamentary elections would not be held until 6 November 2016. The Volkian military administration transferred power to the civilian North Dverian government on 1 December 2016, in accordance with the election results.
North Dveria today has continued its democratic trajectory, holding a successful general election in 2020 that saw the country's first peaceful transfer of power.
