The 2019 Kyrloth General Election was held in Kyrloth on Saturday 16 February 2019, just under a year after the previous general election on 5 March 2018, to elect 144 members to the House of Debate. Following the Kasra Mall Bombing and the subsequent passage of the Police Expanded Protection Bill, the Soldiers' Guild, under the leadership of Sinter Tass won an absolute majority of 73 seats, forming the first government that did not require a coalition deal since 2009.
Elections in Kyrloth are based on a Mixed-Member Proportional system, where two thirds (96) of the seats are elected by first-past-the-post on a constituency basis, and the other third (48) of seats are allocated by the Quota method such that the composition of the House of Debate matches the party vote as closely as possible.
