Vanse Iliskalu is the Minister of the Interior of Vekaiyu. Like his predecessor, Vinsent Miloskari, his years of service in the Vekaiyun government proved him to be a loyal servant to his state. He accepted the position sortly after Miloskari's death, officially adopting his new title on September 21st, 2013. Despite being a relatively unknown governmental officer during Max Venavle's reign, he became an outspoken critic to Selvala McEva and her increasingly hostile policies. He worked closely with Ikrisia Levinile and Miloskari during the 2010 Vekaiyun Civil War, and was instrumental in maintaining fluid relations with other foreign entities when he worked under the Vekaiyun Foreign Affairs department in 2012 when Vekaiyu needed extra attention abroad after the 2012 Listonian War. He returned to internal matters in early 2013 and worked with other governmental officers until his promotion.

His credentials led many to believe he would be selected as the first Premier of South Dveria. But even he, a vulpine, recognized that a human is needed to run a human-majority state, especially one as hostile as Dveria. Like Miloskari, he is able to take a joke and have a good time, but he is a hard worker and knows his purpose in life - to serve the Vekaiyun state to the maximum of his ability. He has aided the Vekaiyun Premier and relieved her of the increasing demands the position requires from time to time. While not officially recognized as such, he had temporarily accepted the duties of the Premier of Vekaiyu when Levinile was away on vacation in October 2014.

He remains one of the more recognizable individuals in the Vekaiyun government.
