St. Ives, also known by his full name of Ives Sigul Menes Veristaru, is one of the more important saints in the Vayan Catholic Church. After receiving formal education abroad, Ives traveled to Odul on his journey to Eldura in order to continue a career in education. Reportedly, he met St. Aiya just before she was leaving the town, and became enamored by the various accounts provided by locals and her follows, especially St. Kabuu. He soon accompanied her on various travels through present-day Vekaiyu, Listonia, and Dveria and scribed her words when he could. Ives was known for his strong faith and soft spoken nature. After her death, he became an important figure in the early Vayan church, but died five years later after a stoning.

St. Ives was canonized in A.D. 616 by the first Pope of Vayan Catholicism, St. Vinsent of Eldura.
