The Elissian Independence Treaty, formally the Treaty Establishing the Confederation of Elissia from the Empire of Augustia, was a momentous event in the history of the Unovia Region. It was signed into effect in the historic city of Bridgeport, Augustia on 1 June 1700.
The Elissian Independence Treaty's main points were to create a government separate from Augustia, but with some oversight to ensure a swift change in power in the coming years.
The Elissian Independence Treaty has been criticized in recent history as the starting point of the fall of Augustia with losing its Sea of Gondwana holdings.
