Overview

The Piorunprerian Empire, formerly Zachodnipaństwo, is a former Korćetta colony in southwest Gondwana.

History

Pre Colonial Era

Before Tretrid or Korćetta came to Southwest Gondwana the Kingdom of Braemaumir spanned over what is now Piorunpreria. This nation lasted for thousands of years before falling to colonial powers. There are not many records of what was before this nation, so this is the earliest known nation in the Piorunpreria area. Although, multiple ancient artifacts have been found in the region.

Colonial Era

In 1635 the area in which Piorunpreria is was colonized by Korćetta. Then in 1842 Tretrid took Piorunpreria from Korćetta. When southwest Gondwana was abandoned by Tretrid in 1920 Piorunpreria was granted independence. Piorunpreria respected Tretrid, which can be seen in the flag. Shortly after Piorunpreria gained independence Korćetta went to war with Piorunpreria and made them a self-governing puppet state. Even though Piorunpreria greatly respected and relied on Korćetta, the new democratic government had been ruthless on the people of Piorunpreria. On June 22nd 2021 Piorunpreria officially gained their independence from Korćetta in the Zachodnipaństwo War of Independence.

Post Colonial Era

After the war, the people of Piorunpreria gave their leader, Hildstan, dictatorial powers for life. Suddenly on June 22nd, 2022, one year after Piorunpreria's independence, Hildstan was assassinated by a pro-Silivst activist, leaving Piorunpreria under the control of his daughter, Sæswið Hildstansdohter. The country adopted an isolationist foreign policy under Sæswið and has remained closed off since.
