List of high elderthanes of Great Morstaybishlia

The high elderthane of Great Morstaybishlia is the head of the Government of Great Morstaybishlia, and chair of the Morstaybishlian Cabinet. Following King Thadeus II signing the Great Charter of the Liberties in August 1917, an elected Samming was first formed which established the position of high elderthane as head of government. Orson Klarass, who led the government of Morstaybishlia for over five years from 1917 to 1922 was the first high elderthane, but the longest-serving high elderthane by definition was Walter Johannes, who served the position from 2005 until 2019.

The position of high elderthane is applied only to head of states in the Kalmington System, and does not retrospectively apply to Lord High Steward, the lead role in the Mathomhouse that were appointed by the authority of the Crown prior to 1917. The Lord High Steward was previously considered the first of the Great Offices of State and was appointed or dismissed at will by the incumbent sovereign. The same applies to the Lord Rubian, which was the title of the leader of the Lord's Hall until the position was dissolved in 1917.
