Within 2018 alone, the company's theme parks hosted over 150 million guests, making the company one of the most visited theme park and resorts companies worldwide. The company is the largest company owned by the Bjørn family by headcount, with a estimated 140,000 employees working either within the parks themselves, support staff or research and development team.

The amusement parks and resorts use a mixture of native culture and the various media or entertainment brands or intellectual properties owned by the Bjørn family. To create unique experience for attendees, with the largest and most successful parks being in Vakrestrender proper.

Background

The company was heavily pushed for by Kristoffersen Bjørn even before he was declared a Jarl after his father's passing. During the trip to Rikevaarland in the 1930s to meet with investors to establish a banks within the country, during the meeting Kristoffersen Bjørn interrupted his father the current Jarl to give his own pitch for establishing series of tourist attractions, resorts and theme parks on Vakrestrender highlighting the climate, cheap labor and prime position between the Norgsveldet world and Great Morstaybishlia world to maximize tourism. While the first pitch fall on depth ears at first, later on in 1939 after the Bjørn family toured the Norgsveltian Crown Realm he gained enough traction to establish the first resort within the country from investors.

The first resort was established near the banking sector of the city on the beach, was a focus on serving the international bankers and their families. It was seen as a massive success, as bankers could bring their children and spouses to their trips to Vakrestrender without having to worry about them distracting them from their work as the resort offered childcare services, fine dining with a international cuisine drawing from the neighboring countries as well as traditional Valkyr dishes and nature park tours.
