Red Crown Terrorist Attack

(For full article on Red Crown Terrorist Attack)

On his 25rd birthday the terrorist group Army of Progress organized a suicide attack on the parade held in the His honor. The attack was accidently broadcasted as the parade was lived streamed and televised throughout the Norgsveltian speaking world. The attack started mid-parade at 13:30 (UTC+12-) at the crossroads of Sherman and Solnedgang boulevard in Vakkerhavfruebukt, Vakrestrender. It was caught on screen as royal carriage carrying his family was smashed into with a semi-truck coming from Sherman road. The semi-truck specially modified to bulldoze pass police cars and tied it's engine to a explosive detonator. When the engine was turned off or cut off the high explosive bomb wired to the underside of the semi would explode.

The semi-truck rammed through the police barricade pushing throw two cars, over three officers and a row of metal fences. Officially at 13:31 (UTC+12-) the semi-truck hit royal carriage and terrorist Ollie Glover turned off the engine and triggered the explosive device. The bomb killed dozen people including all members of the royal family besides Jørgen Bjørn and injured several hundreds of visitors who came out to celebrate the parade. As well many staff and crew members.

Jørgen Bjørn wasn't in the royal carriage, as his place at the birthday parade was to be at end of the route in Elderrick Castle. He was able to see the semi-truck ram through the barricade and activate it's device from his view at the top of the keep. His cries of horror and shock was shown through Pidgeon, as his has been live streaming his view of the parade as well providing his own commentary about the coverage of the event. Along side him was his assistant and friend Karina Stephensen, who turned the live stream off after Jørgen started to break down.

The NCIS investigation and then political fallout afterwards cause all cars in Vakrestrender to be completely banned with the exception of government use. The investigation reveled that the recruitment of homegrown terrorist cell was mostly done online through social media as well the plan itself developed online. Bomb making material was able to be easily smuggled from the outside countries and the local terror cell being able to assemble it on site on the semi. Welding the parts to make the front of the ram took place at Elise's car and boat repair shop and metal payed for by money sent anonymously raised online. While the investigation was able to shut down the local cell, almost none of the terrorist cells aboard was never brought into justice.

Politically, the public out cry demanded more security and ban on cars, an already extremely popular idea at the time for the isles. In the end, it resulted Bjørn Justice Act which massively increase the police present in cyber crimes and on border security. Tighten social media restrictions and speech laws about certain topics. As well the ban on cars outside of emergency service vehicles.
