Polling in West Borea and Kyrloth
On a regular basis, various organisations, nowadays usually Black Flag Radio, carry out opinion polling in order to determine the voting intentions of the West Borean electorate. Since 2015, when modern polling methods began to be used regularly, the country has faced a lot of political instability, and four different political parties have all been the most and least popular at some point. The latest election, held on 28 January 2023, saw a landslide victory for the Socialists and the revival of the short-lived 1990s party, the Centre Alliance, following the banning of Sinter Tass's Soldiers' Guild and the Resource Control Board.(Full article...)

Flag of Packilvania
Packilvania is a unitary absolute monarchy in Yasteria Major. In the 2nd millennium BCE, Prophet Besmali documented local myths in the Ichtmar and founded Paxism. The history of Packilvania formally started in the 7th century CE, when Iktan the Devout united the tribes of Central Yasteria Major, catalyzed by attempts by King Obed III of Bingol to introduce religious reforms to Paxism. Packilvania is the second-largest country on Urth at an area of 6.134 million square kilometers and has the 3rd largest economy in the world by nominal GDP and the largest by PPP GDP. Coupled with the fact that it is a nuclear weapons state, and its military, the Packilvanian Armed Forces, has the third largest military budget and third highest number of military personnel in the world, it is considered a superpower, though its foreign relations remain unstable due to its differing ideology compared to the rest of the world and the support of terrorist activities in the Packilvanian Expeditionary Force. The Oan Isles is an ancient country that is formally stated to have been established in 1000 CE by Ahua the Great. However, the Oan Isles has been inhabited mostly but not exclusively by primines since around 20,000 BCE. As a result, the history of the Oan Isles is taken to include the period before the country was formally established. The country has since experienced expansion, for instance under the Strathepolic Expansion, cessation of territory after the Morsto-Oan War, and participation in international conflicts such as the Auroran-Pacific War.

The Oan Isles was first colonised by human beings 90,000 years ago. These humans migrated from Yasteria to populate Aurora. There are contradicting conclusions drawn by archeologists as to the nature of these humans and how they spread as they did. It is believed that they made simple rafts from branches of trees strewn together with vines and simple rope made from braiding grass. They possessed basic navigation as there is evidence of cave and rock paintings and carvings depicting what scientists believe are star constellations. (Full article...)
