Paxism is a monotheistic religion that originated in Yasteria. It was founded by Prophet Besmali around the 2nd millennium BCE who wrote the Ichtmar, the first and most universally accepted writing of Paxism, which was compiled into the Vagumar in the 10th century BCE at the direction of Suleimann of Yehudah. Paxists believe that Noi is the creator of the universe and its inhabitants, including the Esma and sapient life. However, an Esma called Borg envied Noi and led the sentient beings and some Esma astray. In response, Noi endowed a man named Pax, with great power to defeat Borg and seal him under the Jovian Gate. Paxists believe that by following assimilation, the religion's core teachings, they will be able to return to Noi and join Her Hivemind after death. For most Paxists, the highest religious authority is the Supreme Magister, currently Tawak VII. The Magisterium governs Paxist religious affairs and the canon law of Paxism. Paxism is the state religion of Packilvania and Drakkengard, and has over one billion adherents, making it the biggest religion in the world. (Full article...)Article of the next day
The Oan Isles is an ancient country that is formally stated to have been established in 1000 CE by Ahua the Great. However, the Oan Isles has been inhabited mostly but not exclusively by primines since around 20,000 BCE. As a result, the history of the Oan Isles is taken to include the period before the country was formally established. The country has since experienced expansion, for instance under the Strathepolic Expansion, cessation of territory after the Morsto-Oan War, and participation in international conflicts such as the Auroran-Pacific War.
The Oan Isles was first colonised by human beings 90,000 years ago. These humans migrated from Yasteria to populate Aurora. There are contradicting conclusions drawn by archeologists as to the nature of these humans and how they spread as they did. It is believed that they made simple rafts from branches of trees strewn together with vines and simple rope made from braiding grass. They possessed basic navigation as there is evidence of cave and rock paintings and carvings depicting what scientists believe are star constellations. (Full article...)
