The Ethaln Plains are a broad expanse of coastal and continental plains and wetlands located on the continent of Aurora. The plains encompass about 3,290,967 sq km, and account for nearly a third of all surface land area on Aurora.

The earliest known remains of anatomically modern Cava have been located in the Ethaln plain. Dating back to approximately two million years ago, this is likely where they evolved and subsequently spread outwards across the continent.
