The North Ethalrian Confederacy, commonly referred to as North Ethalria was a shortlived Ethalrian federal state which existed from September 2019 until October 2021, between Vöhmia and Kotheria. Although de jure a confederacy of equal states, the confederation was considered de facto controlled and led by the larger and more powerful member, Vöhmia. The confederacy was landlocked and bordered Kaltariezh, Staynes, Drakaland, and Faethalria.

The Overseer was responsible for the transition period between two nation states to a singular North Ethalria, bound by a constitution. The transition occured on the 5th of October 2021.

The confederacy had a population of 108.6 million in 2021, of which 60.5 million lived in Vöhmia. Whilst Irvintal was twice as big as Karinthurm, the latter was the de facto capital city. The confederacy had access to international trade and a small merchant navy at the Kaltariz cities of Dluhzva and Bervduva via the Krösenau, which made them semi-dependent on Great Morstaybishlia. The confederacy's GDP per capita grew by 3.4 percent per year over a three year period from 2017.

The Confederacy's Military was a professional capable force, consisting of 1.17 million total personnel. They were the principal deterrent force against any aggression that could be shown against the sovereign state of North Ethalria. All military and security forces, including the Armed Forces, were under the command of the Overseer of North Ethalria, Clauzia Sarohart. It had a budget of $31.3 billion in 2021, which equated to an average of 2 percent spending between Vöhmia and Kotheria. Its main battle tank was the Howlitzer I which entered the armed forces in November 2019.
