Kothalria, officially the Republic of Kothalria is a sovereign state in the Ethalns, Aurora. Its provisional government was setup in 2017 by the government of Great Morstaybishlia before the actual government took its place, led by Gweneth Moor. After her assassination in the Phoenix House Gunfight, the nation joined politically with Vothetria to form the North Ethalrian Confederacy with ongoing discussions to form a unified North Ethalria. Clauzia Sarohart became the country's first President as head of the NEC, and the former prime minister was replaced by Vanessa von der Blecke. The History of Kothalria is greatly intertwined with its neighbors Vothetria, Thalria, Faethalria, Durentrus and Sarentria, all being part of the same nation of the Grand Matriarchy of Ethalria.
Kothalrian Armed Forces
The Kothalrian Armed Forces (KAF) makes up apart of the North Ethalrian Armed Forces (NEAF) alongside the Vothetrian Armed Forces. The expenditure accounts for 3.7 of its Gross Domestic Product. Since 2017, Kothalria has a conscription level of 419K.
Demographics
The estimated population of Kothalria in 2017 was 27,150,000. A national census was conducted in 2020; the population had increased by 0.05 percent, or 0.016 per year, to 27,285,752. The GDP per capita increased by 4.4 percent each year for three years, from $12,280 in 2017 to $13,900.96 in 2020. Thus, the total GDP increased from $333.40 billion to $379.29 billion in a three year period.
