The party gaining it's biggest electoral victory in 1921 for supporting king Haakon III disolving the parliament in 1917 and for it's active anti-war stance, with a motto of "Never again a great war!". The party promote family values, increased social spending on welfare, decrease on military spending and subsidies for farmers. The party has also been critical of Norgsveldet membership in the [[Union of Commonwealth Alliances]], though has not stated any willingness of getting Norgsveldet out of it either.
