The Ulvriktru Democrats (Norgsveltian: Ulvriktru Demokratene) abbreviated to UD is a social conservative, royalistic populist and agrarian party in Norgsveldet. Being a opposition party under the leadership of Bjørn Varg an former gothir from Wergby in Nyveldet. The party is the third oldest one in the parliament being formed 1900. The party gaining it's biggest electoral victory in 1921 for supporting king Haakon III disolving the parliament in 1917 and for it's active anti-war stance, with a motto of "Never again a great war!". The party promote family values, increased social spending on welfare, decrease on military spending and subsidies for farmers. The party has also been critical of Norgsveldet membership in the Union of Commonwealth Alliances, though has not stated any willingness of getting Norgsveldet out of it either. The party has often been stated by political commentators to be the "King's Party". Though a name that Bjørn Varg has stated to be one he considers a compliment. The party having been one of the major promoters of Royalistic Populism, and has since its founding created a large following for that ideology. Politicans from Ulvriktru Democracts has often promoted an "Ulvrikian" identity above that of Norgsveltian one. Following their foreign policy views of strengthen Norgsveldet's bond with fellow cultural "brother" nations. With many members wanting to strengthen the North Concordian Economic Forum to be more similare to organisations such as UNAC.
Though their orgins were pacifistic today the party has a far more interventionist stance. Though not as interventionist as NCP and LNP, the party has taken an offical stance on limited intervention and see Norgsveltian military intervention as a positive thing if diplomacy does not work. This has been shown with the party supporting the king's decision to declare war on Balistria in 2020, and decision to intervene into the Helslandr Civil War.
