People's City State of Lov-e-set or more commonly just known as Lov-e-set is a city state within the Federation of the Southern Coast and was the last independent entity to join the Monarcho-Socialists in the Unification Wars. The polity consists the city itself and the surrounding mountain base it sits on. The city primary inhabited by the Lews people and has a notable minority of Østlander and Amatians. Lov-e-set sits between People's Republic of the Amatsuka and the People's Jarldom of Østland inside of the Federation. It rests on the mountain Goran in the mountain range of Slied. The Mayor-Secretary is Fabrice Auvray, a native Lew resident of the city state, and has been the Mayor-Secretary for eight years. The city has a population of 87,000, with a dense urban center due to the limit land area on the mountain due. The city has the largest underground man-made structures in the Federation, which includes a large shopping center and a train station going to the bottom of the mountain. The city-state attracts tourists primary for the underground portion of the city state and the train ride that circles around the mountain before entering the tunnel that goes to the shopping center.

The origins of the city state came from the early 8th century primary by Vikings who settled on top of the mountain to build a fortress monastery and practices their unique form of Ulvriktru which focus on going to Valhalla rather than worshipping the deities themselves.

Founding myth of the city state, was warband of Vikings found a troll at sea and killed the monster. Later building the city into the troll's corpse and dug deep into it's body to build a temple. According to the myth, the Ulvriktru temple is built in the heart of the troll's body.

Politics

After the Unification War, the elected head of the city was invited to speak in the Federal Parliament on behalf of the Lews people to create a city state and negotiate for terms of their autonomy within the Federation as well borders. Morél Pepin the first Federal Prime Minister of the Federation and leader of the Royal Worker's Party, arbitered the borders between Østland, Amatsuka and the Lews elected official to create the modern borders of Lov-e-set. The city was rebuilt after the Unification Wars as part of the Mending the Land campaign which repaired the Ulvriktru temple carved deep into the mountain.

The latest election majority of the ballots casted by done through the phone application by a 87% compared to traditional voting method of a ballot booth. Economy

The economy of Lov-e-set is primary tourism based, centered around the underground part of the city and the massive Ulvriktru temple curved into a mountain. In 1980, the city approved of a loan to use a nearby mountain to curve a image of a sail boat ramming a large troll with the Vikings climbing out of the boat and onto the troll to kill it. The image being the founding legend of the city state, it was completed in 1998 and attracts tourists from all the Federation, Eyjaria, Helslandr (pre-civil war) and Norgsveldet. Majority of tourists come from said countries to visit the mountain city to see the unique interpretation of the temple and the underground city.

The railway to Lov-e-set brings in visitors as well, the train going from the base of the mountain and spirals up the mountain capturing the surrounding nature preserve around the city state, the stone boat curving and finally entered into the tunnel that leads to the underground part of the city.

Religion

Religion in Lov-e-set, is predominantly Lew-Ulvriktru, a form of Ulvriktru that is ethnically connected to the Lews. Lew-Ulvriktru differs heavily from all three main branches of Ulvriktru, praying and temple service is seen as non-essential, gods having a less important role in the faith and a open rejection to material comforts or matters. The ethnic religion only has a single temple and a single temple priest, the temple priest title being handed down through the bloodline of the priest. The theology of Lew-Ulvriktru being only getting into Valhalla by being a great warrior and killing other warriors, killing another Lew-Ulvriktru warrior being seen as one of the greatest sins as it betrays the chance for that warrior to gain access into Valhalla. Valhalla being the only direct religious matter that the Lew-Ulvriktru pray towards, typically only at birth or at death.
