The Civic Party, colliquially known as the Civics is a centrist political party in Great Morstaybishlia. It is the major catch-all party in Morstaybishlian politics, occupying the political middle ground between the Progress Party and the Principles of Democracy Party. The Civics formed in 1926, breaking away from the Liberal Party and largely replacing it. It has frequently held the balance of power in the Morstaybishlian parliament when it has not itself been in coalition or in government.

The Civics have historic factions that lean into centre-left and centre-right politics. Due to its historic factionalism, the more centre-right Erwan Nasserethe was in coalition with the Podite Alderman ministry of 1926 to 1928, whilst the incumbent leader Osbourne Saudaran, who has been labelled as centre-left, is in coalition with Progress. Its four prime ministers have also varied in political stance, where Everett Glasgore was considered a centrist, Delores Gastrell and Nancy Jarsdel were considered centre-left, and Robert Delari considered the party's most right-wing leader. Since the Auroran-Cerenerian War, the radical centre movement has become the largest faction under its leader Ruz Delarzhien, who has a strong support for various reforms.

Under Everett Glasgore in the 1950s, the party largely adopted Third Way neoliberalism, combining elements of capitalist and socialist policies of past governments. Glasgore emphasised and implemented the foundations for a mixed economy. In the 1970s, Nancy Jarsdel implemented many of the first foundational equality laws in Morstaybishlia that regarded species, race, ethnicity and partnership. Robert Delari despite his domestic economic and environmental success, was considered by some as a war criminal for his involvement in the Meremaa Civil War, which combined with his nepotistic tendencies would go on to tarnish the party's reputation for over two decades, nearly leading to its dissolution in the mid 1990s. The party has slowly recovered and today makes up the coalition partner with the Progress Party under the Barvata-Saudaran coalition.
