The Republic of Tivot, better known as Tivot, is a small, prosperous nation that shares a single border with Caltharus on the continent Aurora. Tivot was part of Kostuvastan but gained independence immediately after The Auroran Imperial War. It has maintained peaceful relations with the former Kostuv territories of Baykalia, Kostromastan, and Tuvaltastan. Tivot exists between the latitudes S and S, and between the longitudes E and E. The nation, with a Nominal GDP per capita of $9,670.8, has an estimated population of 41,986,164. The nation is located at the tip of the Auroran Peninsula, and is a major port for shippings directed towards Gondwana and Atlantia. Tivot also has three islands. The capital Tarov holds the entire population, due to lack of practical usable space, making Tivot the largest city-state.

Etymology
Tivot comes from the ancient word "tivo," which originates from the dead language of the ancient Kostuvians. "Tivo" translates to "fun" in Codexian, and "Vn" (Pronounced Vun) in Kostuvian.
History
Departure from Kostuvastan
After The Auroran Imperial War, the Tivot people saw that the empire was weakened militarily, and as such took advantage of a few legal loopholes to become their own country. They were established on January 24th, 1976. Since then, Tivot has become a booming city-state. Interestingly, Tivot is also the largest city-state in the world by land area, and the area surrounding Tarov is very diverse, with large mountains to the south, an extremely steep volcanic mountain on one of its islands, a very deep ravine on the northernmost island, as well as a truly immense cliff in the northern part of the Tivot mainland. Due to this diversity, most of Tivot has been designated as a nature reserve, except for Tarov and surrounding areas.
Beginnings of Tivot
Unlike its war-torn counterparts, Tivot has not been in a war since The Auroran Imperial War. Due to this, it was able to advance in technology quicker than the rest of former Kostuvastan, advancing beyond the need for livestock (see Agriculture and Livestock).

Agriculture and Livestock
Livestock in Tivot
Through relatively speedy advancements in agricultural technology, Tivot was able to eliminate the need for livestock, which was replaced by synthesized meats early in 2006. The synthesized meat is not truly artificial, as the sources for the meats came from the animals themselves. The meat taken from the animals has produced thousands upon thousands of tons of their respective meats, be it beef, pork, chicken, or sheep.
