The New Republic of Puntalia, more commonly referred to simply as Puntalia or East Puntalia, is a nation located on the continent of Arcturia that shares its border with New Puntalia, Rodenia, and New Calth of Great Morstaybishlia. Established in 2020 by the Puntalia Compromise Treaty, the nation is the result of part internal military coup, part foreign intervention by Rodenia, the latter of which invaded as a result of an alleged communist conspiracy to overthrow the previously established government. The action was condemned by much of the international community, namely members of the NSTO and UCA. Puntalia, since the treaty, has become a member of the Anti-Communist Coalition.
