The Republic of New Puntalia, more commonly referred to simply as New Puntalia or West Puntalia, is a nation located on the continent of Arcturia that shares its border with Puntalia and Osterlicsh. Established in 2020 by the Puntalia Compromise Treaty, the nation was formed as the counter to the actions of Rodenia during the 2020 Puntalia Crisis. Though not considered the legal successor to the original Republic of Puntalia, the Union of Commonwealth Alliances often portrays New Puntalia as such. The debate on which nation is the true successor remains unresolved, but the New Republic of Puntalia remains the holder of the original Puntalia seat. New Puntalia is a member of the Union of Commonwealth Alliances, and replaced the Republic of Puntalia as the UCA member.
