The North Ethalrian Confederacy, commonly referred to as North Ethalria is an Ethalrian federal state which has existed since late September 2019 between Vothetria and Kothalria. Although de jure a confederacy of equal states, the Confederation is considered de facto controlled and led by the largest and most powerful member, Vothetria. The confederacy is landlocked, and borders Caltharus, Staynes, Xagrurg, Faethalria and Kothalria.

The federal constitution established the Vothetrian Prime Minister as bearer of the Bundespräsidium, or head of state, with the title President. Laws could only be enabled with the consent of the Volksvertretung (parliament) and the Federal Council (a representation of the states). Since inception, a Workers'-Labour cooperation undertook important steps to unify (Northern) Ethalria with regard to law and infrastructure.

The confederacy has a population of 65 million in 2019, of which 37.8 million live in Vothetria. Whilst Irvindel is twice as big as Karinthus, the latter is the de facto capital city. The confederacy has access to international trade and a small merchant navy at the Caltharusian cities of Kingsfort, Cavenhelm and Lamburtupol via the Ider River, which makes them semi-dependent on Morstaybishlia.
