Berowalt Staves (18 July 1886 - 9 January 1949) was a Kaltar politician serving as the 7th and 9th Prime Minister of Great Morstaybishlia. With insurgency in the Dominion of Axdel worsening in the late 1930s and early 1940s and becoming a divisive political issue, he lost several rebellious backbench MPs to the opposition, forcing a general election which saw him lead a minority Progress government for 15 months. In the February 1942 general election he lost to Alec Lanx who ran a hung parliament until a September general election, when Staves formed a minority government until another election in 1943, where he lost to Lanx's majority.
