The Republic of Serdemia, commonly known as Serdemia is a unitary sovereign state in southeast Gondwana. The nation shares land borders with two countries - Aivintis to the south and East Cerdani to the west and north.
Serdemia is a presidential republic, with a unicameral Congress and universal suffrage. The President acts as Chief Executive and Head of State. The capital is Novoska, a global city and financial centre with an urban area population of 5.4 million as of 2020. The largest city is Chernopolsk, with an urban area population of 6.9 million as of 2020. Other major urban areas in Serdemia include Belopolsk, Saragrad, and Nisava.
Serdemia has a sizable economy, following a system akin to laissez-faire liberalism. The average income of a Serdemic citizen is notably fair, with low income inequality. Serdemia was slow to industrialize, but effective after it began.
