Prince Radeeq is a Feline male who serves as the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of Packilvania and a member of the Council of State of Packilvania. He is the uncle of Sultan of Packilvania, Thumim V, brother to the former Sultan Namdun III and son of Amhoud II. He is a Prince of the Bedonite dynasty which forms the royal family of Packilvania and Drakkengard. He is also an ex officio member of the Consultative Assembly of the Parliament of Packilvania.

Early life and education

Prince Radeeq was born to Amhoud a-Amhoud and Gamesha Bedon in 1946 in the city of Makobar in Ukanar. Prince Radeeq studied at the East Makobar Primary School from 1952 to 1959. He then studied at the East Makobar High School from 1960 to 1964.

Military Career

He joined the People's Liberation Army from 1965 to 1971 where he rose to the rank of Captain in the Army. He simultaneously joined the Packilvanian Communist Party and was active in the PCP Group that operated in the area where he was deployed. During his service in the military he also studied law. He simultaneously joined the Carriers of Mercy and served as the Head of the Volunteer Management Department of the Carriers of Mercy in Ukanar.

Legal and Political Career

When he resigned in 1971, he joined the People's Procuratorate and rose to the rank of People's Procurator for Southern Ukanar. He also rose in the Communist Party as the Party Secretary for Southern Ukanar. He was secretly responsible for assisting his grandfather Amhoud I to implement the war plan against the Communist Party. He was involved in instigated mass protests against the Packilvanian Communist Party in Ukanar. He resigned his job in the party and in the Procuratorate to serve the Carriers of Mercy full time.

Civil War

When the Carriers was banned and its members persecuted, he fled to Shakar where Amhoud I had established a stronghold. He joined the Warriors of Mercy as at the rank of Colonel and led various raids against the People's Liberation Army. He suffered some disasterous defeats that included his loss of his right leg. He was then put to work in the back, conducting strategic planning and administration of the Carriers. His strengths lay in discipline, resulting in his appointment as the Chairperson of the Shakar Disciplinary Tribunal for the Carriers of Mercy where he sentenced several members who had defected or shown cowardice to death. He was present at his grandfather's Coronation and at the signing of the PCPs declaration of surrender. He was part of the Constituent Assembly that framed the constitution.

Judicial Career

He was appointed to the post of the Justice in the Bingol High Court at the age of 39 in 1986. He was promoted to a position as the Judge President of the Bingol High Court in 1990 at the age of 44. He was then appointed as a Justice of the Supreme Court of Packilvania at the age of 49 in 1995. He was appointed as the Chief Justice of Packilvania in 2001 at the age of 55. He has been in that post for the past 22 years.

His landmark cases have included cases that imposed mandatory fasting on the population. His ruled with the majority in the case recognise women's right to terminate a pregnancy. He dissented in the case on allowing police to arbitrarily detain people. He was in the majority on a case that had a journalist arrested for violatong national security law through the publication of sensitive state data. He was in the majority in a case that ruled that Tasselvaltans had the rights of citizens and the Packilvanian government was obligated to annex the country or let it go. He dissented against the case that data was private property. He was in the majority in the case which determined that the Sultan could not only waive princely immunity but subject princes to common law. He ruled in the majority for the national government to impose term limits of provincial governors. He resigned as the Chief Justice of Packilvania and was replaced by Farmahad Wasoon.
