Creation & Divisions Of Marine World

Marine World was created in 1965 after the founder set out to build an underwater restaurant and marine life show. When the underwater restaurant concept was deemed unrealistic, they scrapped those plans and decided to build a park instead, and Marine World Novaris was opened on January 31st, 1967. With only a 12 dolphins, 8 sea lions, 24 attractions and 120 acres , the park proved to be a success and more than 630,000 guests visited in the first 12 months.

After considering other locations in Kuthernburg, it was decided that Luthernburg, Kuthernburg would be the new home of a Marine World. The Luthernburg site was approximately 5 miles southeast of Luthernburg. By this time, the founders of the company had captured a few more species of animals, including 4 killer whales that was brought to the new facility. The harsh winter climate permitted the park to be open only from mid-April until mid-October.
