The Kalivian Mountains are a mountain range system that lies entirely within eastern Aurora, across eight different countries: Oscrelia, Biramura, Great Morstaybishlia, The North Ethalrian Confederacy, Thalria, Nolova, and Tuvaltastan. The mountains were formed approximately 250-180 million years ago as the Auroran and Salovic tectonic plates collided. Extreme shortening caused by the event resulted in marine sedimentary rocks rising by thrusting and folding into high mountain peaks such as Ts'gaich'ra and lower elevations becoming isolated, like the Posolic Valley.
