Jawal Ukramistre (born Shahad Jawal a-Subran Ukramistre on 6 October 1945) is a Feline politician who serves as the incumbent Prime Minister of Drakkengard.

He was born in Shuwaad, Drakkengard to Edol Ukramistre and Sabil Ukramistre (née Dahal). He was raised there for most of his life. After completing high school, he did an apprenticeship in mechanical engineering under Humil Beraan, the owner of a vehicle repair shop on Shuwaad. He worked as a mechanic for 3 years before joining the Drakken Army to work in their engineer corps. During his career there, he joined the Drakken Communist Party (DCP). He returned home in 1959 and in 1960, he joined the Carriers of Mercy.

In 1963, he became the DCP Branch Leader for Wesil, a subdivision in Shuwaad. The subsequently became the DCP Zonal Leader for Shuwaad in 1966. In 1967, he headed the Carriers of Mercy, Health Division in Rajam District. He became The DCP District Leader for the Rajam District in 1969. In 1971, he was in charge of Volunteer Management for Gubal Region for the Carriers of Mercy. In 1971, he became the DCP Regional Leader for Gubal Region. He became the Head of the North Drakkengard Volunteer Management Division in 1972. In 1973, he was elected to the Politburo of the DCP.

In 1974, when Amhoud I proclaimed a war against the Packilvanian Communist Party, Ukramistre joined them and renounced his membership in the Drakkengard Communist Party. He led a mass exodus of 12,000 people from the Party. A warrant was issued for his arrest but he escaped to Shakar, Packilvania. He trained under Sudipti Jahar for a year and became the Head of the Drakkengard Volunteer Management Division for the Carriers of Mercy which was in charge of recruitment, retention and overseeing the conditions and discipline of the volunteers in Drakkengard.

In 1978, he was a leading figure in the war effort against the DCP. He was a leading figure in the negotiations to end the war. He extremely angry when Amhoud I made Usmil VII the head of the Carriers of Mercy in Drakkengard instead of him and he threatened to resign. Amhoud I personally asked him to stay and promised to reward him when the war ended, so he remained in the Carriers.

When the Parliament of Drakkengard was convened and the Constitution for the country was being drafted, he was supposed to be Speaker but because the Speaker had to be neutral, he instead sat as a member. He advocated for the independence of the country while Usmil VII advocated for incorporation into Packilvania. He subsequently petitioned Amhoud I not to grant this. Amhoud I agreed that Drakkengard should remain independent. Jawal wanted Drakkengard to have a republican government, but lost that debate to Usmil VII who advocated for the Sultan of Packilvania to be the King of Drakkengard with a personal union known as Pax-Draconica.

As a reward to Ukramistre, Amhoud I asked Usmil VII to resign as Head of the Drakken Carriers of Mercy and replaced him with Ukramistre. Furthermore, he made Ukramistre the Prime Minister of Drakkengard. Moreover, to put him on the same rank as Usmil who was now the Duke of Vaskar, Ukramistre was appointed the Duke of Halkadir.

Today, Ukramistre rules Drakkengard like an autocratic dictator. Although technically he requires the permission of the Sultan to appoint and dismiss Ministers, the Sultan has never refused it. Despite attempts to remove him, the Sultans have kept him in that position. Under his rule, Drakkengard joined the International Forum. Drakkengard was an important mediator between Packilvania and Vekaiyu and supported the Packilvanian invasion of Tasselvalta in the 2010 Tasselvalta War.
