Dame Ashryn Vhaeris Laberos OHM (née Kelwarin, born 18 March 1942) is a Valerian Labour Party politician who is apart of the Valerian Labour faction. She is serving as Secretary of State for Justice and Lord Chancellor since 2021. Between 2019 and 2021 Laberos served as the Minister of State for Prisons and Probation, and has served as MP for West Rhoemaris since 1998.
Born into a middle class Usprian elf family, Laberos became the third ever Usprian elf elected to the House of Representatives. She became the first female Usprian elf to hold a ministerial position, and the first ever non-human to be elected to a cabinet position in Great Morstaybishlia. Her charitable work and patronage to over 10 charities throughout the past five decades has seen Laberos become the recipient of multiple accolades and honours, including the Order of the Highest Merit (OHM) in 2001 and a damehood in 2013.
