Johanna Sverdrup
Jeanne Pierre

The Sisters’ Conspiracy is a Norgsveltian and Côtois political conspiracy theory. It originated online from 5San in 2018. The claim of the theory is that Johanna Sverdrup and Jeanne Pierre are biological sisters. Citing the similarity of personality, foreign policies, looks, the two being close friends, Jeanne being adopted and Johanna’s father suffering from Duval Syndrome, the same condition that Jeanne suffers from.

The followers of the belief, believe that the two in addition to being sisters was put into power by a shadowy cabal of high level government officials, business leaders and economists are plotting to united the Federation and Norgsveldet into a single country. Pointed towards the Special Relationship and more directly towards Agreement 173, the dual-state status in the event of a second great war or emergency. The members of the conspiracy are divided on whether it being a good thing for the two countries to unite or if it was a plot to start a second great war and this being preparation for it.

In addition to the Sisters’ Conspiracy it plays into a religious element of Ulvriktru, particularly towards a particular story within the Saga about two sisters uniting and re-creating Mjølnir to give back to Thor to finally strike down Jörmungandr during Ragnarok. In addition to the Ulvriktru elements, some conspiracy cite Akuan myth about two siblings with hair made from snow coming together to form a new deity which will bring a ice bridge to the Moon and would bring Star-bears to Urth. In Akuan myths and stories, it has been divided between scholars if Star-bears would be friendly and drive out the monsters of the night or if they would act as an enforcement to Akuanists beliefs.

The spread of the conspiracy theory slowly outside 5San and into Pigeon. Spreading primarily through memes about how close the two are.
