The First Civil War lasted for more than 3 years between 1865 to 1868, resulting in half a million casualties, and almost a quarter million deaths. The war was primarily fought among the borders, with each side trying to invade the others. This campaign was more succesful, and led to the [[Siege of Aminore]], a strategic fortress that supplies Anuriel, on the 9th of April 1866. The war started with the Kingdom advancesadvanced toward the [[Fortress of Aminore]]. The Republican managed to pushed back the Royalist into the borders. But, when the Republican pushed back the Royalist, the Royalist already dug up trenches and fortified positions along the borders. The Republican troops follows suit, and the rest of the war became a [[Trench Warfare]], except on the highlands where there were massive guerilla skirmishes, and at the sea where both nation's navies collide. The stalemate continue for the rest of the year, as only cannons shots were heard on the trenches and both armies still figuring out how to fight on such terrains.

On 15th of February 1915, the Republican started an advance to try to break through the Royalist trenches. The offensive, known as the [[February Campaign]], succeed on breaking through the Royalist defenses, but got bogged down. The Republican occupies the western trenches of the Royalist for the next three months, before the Royalist decided to outflanked the Republican and pushed them out of their trenches. The Royalist, galvanizing on this momentum, pushed forward toward the Republican line, culminating in the [[2nd Battle of La Girona]] on 20th of May 1915. This battle were once again a loss, and the Royalist retreated back to their trenches. In the west highlands and arround Yasteria Range, General [[David Janisson]] of the Royal Army conducted series of successful guerilla warfare, and even going as far as to attack the Fort of Camille, the westernmost fortification of the Republican that guarded the flank of the trenches, in 20th of October 1915. His attack was crucial for the outset of the [[3rd Battle of La Girona]] on 22nd of October 1915, where some Royalist units manages to cross the river, and even bombarded Anuriel itself on 30th of October, before retreating back to the river line, and then to their trenches. During the winter, on the sea, both navies of the two nations clashed on small skirmishes, trying to cut of each other's supply lines. There were three large scale skirmishes that occurs between October to December; [[Battle of Lain's Reef]] (30th of October 1915), the [[Battle of Port August]] (13th of November 1915), and the [[Battle of Merrimack Stream]] (2nd of December 1915). Tissandra is one of the most populous member state of the Yasterian Ascociation of Nations and has a substantial leverage in the Yasterian Council. Since joining the ascociation, successive Tissandran governments have pursued policies to extend the country's role in Yasterian and international affairs. Tissandra is an important hub for international relations and a regional power in Central Yasteria, with one of the largest economy of the area.
Postwar Tissandran foreign policy has been largely shaped by membership of The East Pacific. Since the 2000's, Tissandra has developed close ties with member states although were frequently interrupted by times of isolation because of the constant changes in the administration. It maintain friendly connection with its neighbors, particularly [[Packilvania]] as it is the closest neighbor of Tissandra. The Royal Navy of Tissandra comprised of 40 ships, and hundreds of civilian-converted ships. The navy boasts 5 cruisers, 10 destroyers, 18 corvettes, 5 submarines and 2 nuclear submarines. The navy is organized into two fleets, each headed by an admiral. The navy serves limited purposes as Tissandra didn't have a long coastline, and mainly deployed in the west to escort incoming trade vessels and defending generally. The cruisers, especially the [[Hampton-class]] is the most advanced naval vessels in the nation, owing to its super sensitive radar system, semi-automatic targeting computers, and the large number of automatic and guided missiles silos aboard. All cruisers of The Royal Navy own at least two helipads, with a military helicopters capable of carrying ordinance and for rescue mission. However this class fell short with many classes belonging to other nation. The coast guard boasted hundreds of boats and their ships are also considered part of the royal navy.
