The Lorentzen Affect or the Norgsveltian-Côtois military social affect, is a observable affect within officer exchange programs between the Norgsveldet and the Federation. When Norgsveltian army officers are deployed with or incharge of Côtois Army, Côtois forces are less likely to surpass the rules of proportional response when engaging within operations and statically using less explosives by almost 60%. However when Côtoise marines are deploy with the Norgsveltian name, captains and admirals become far more aggressive in operations, in virtually all cases surpass the rules of proportional response. The affect was named after Norgsveltian captain Ella Lorentzen and a squad of Côtois marines was stationed in Crown Realm base in Nyveldet, engaged in a unconventional hostage rescue onboard a hijack cruise ship 1982. The unconventional hostage rescue, involved a near permanent intoxication throughout the day the operation took place and initially non-approved by the Joint-Command but was later approved after the successful rescue with Captain Lorentzen being promoted to being the under-secutary of Norgsveltian Naval History department stationed in Osfjord.
