The land was made up of five petty chiefdoms before the arrival of early Kaltariezh explorers and traders in the 1430s. These explorers brought several diseases that nearly completely annihilated the Jūs peoples and by the 1440s the Kaltarimpalaeriezh established the first trading outposts intended for [[Yasteria]]. In 1483 it was ''de jure'' incorporated into the empire, and after two years of conflict was ''de facto'' controlled by it.
Before 1604, the land was made up of two nations. Justelvard and Kistelvard. Individually these states has weak power, subsequently leading to the [[Morsto-Justelvard War]], which saw a union to defend the islands. Nonetheless, the war resulted in a [[Morstaybishlian Empire|Morstaybishlian]] victory. Under the Empire, the region emerged into the modern world as a powerful trade icon.


Jusdelva gained independence in 1975 following an agreement with the Morstaybishlian Government for their involvement in the [[Auroran Imperial War]] known as the 1975 Jusdelva Independence Act. Jusdelva's Head of State from 1975 to 2016 remained the sovereign bloodline of Morstaybishlia and its similar culture and mix of ethnic Kaltariz and Staynish residents eventually led Jusdelva to apply for member status of Morstaybishlia. The Kingdom of Jusdelva entered into a political union with the Imperial Kingdom of Great Morstaybishlia in late 2016, forming the current nation.
Justelvard gained independence in 1967 following the Justelvardian Independence Act 1967, which was given royal assent. Justelvard's Head of State from 1967 to 2016 remained the Royal bloodline of Staynes.

The Kingdom of Justelvard entered into a political union with the Kingdom of Morstaybishlia on 16 Dec 2016 to create the new [[United Kingdom|United Kingdom of Great Morstaybishlia and Justelvard]]. The union also created a new Parliament of the United Kingdom, which succeeded both the Parliament of Justelvard and the Parliament of Morstaybishlia.
