The Gaoirgalos na hSairna Trinteréi (Staynish: Defence Forces of the Trinterian Realm), also known as Her Imperial Majesty's Armed Forces or simply, the Gaoirgalos (lit: 'Defence Power') are the unified armed forces of the Mirhaime, its Overseas Territories and Crown Possessions.

Constituting the military power of the Federation of the Trinterian Realm, and thereby responsible for matters relating to the defense of its population, territory, and national interests, the Gaoirgalos comrpises mainly of the hSairna Cosantóirí (Realm Guards), the hSairna Farraigeoirí (Realm Armada), the hSairna Leathóirí (Realm Aviation Force). These service branches are supported by their subordinating federally-organized reserve force of the Coimeádaitheoirí na hTíre (Dominion Defence Force; lit: Keepers of the Homeland). Its commander in chief is constitutionally the the Léiadh of the Trinterian Realm, a title granted to the elected head of state and head of government of Mirhaime, who forms military policies with the Tiatarán and the Rannóg na gComhrac (Chamber of War) which remains the principal organ through which said policies are carried out.

Since the suspension of national service for all Mirhaimian citizens under the Bréandan Cáiréas Ascendancy in 1982, Gaoirgalos has since been oriented to be an all-volunteer army of professionals in its active-duty components, as well as reservists and civilian contractors. The Léiadh, with the consent of the Séacarái, can activate the Mobilization Act which would give the Chamber of War the ability to conscript all able-bodied citizens aged 18 to 58 in the event of a national emergency.

Garrisons and facilities beyond Mirhaimian soil are maintained within the context of the Comlathas Enhanced Defence Organization in Afragola, Thalor, Costalan, Sayyed, Marisha, Meilaftaland, Phoenixia and Taiyō. In the event of an emergency that threatens the security and integrity of CEDO's Novaran Command, selected sections of the Gaoirgalos can congregate into the Continental Contigency Force under the leadership of the Continental Novaran High Command. On a global scale, they can be organized into the Global Contingency Force.
