Esta the Protector, Torhall is the current Jarlynja of Lapliszna a country in East Borea. She was born on 9th of April in the Royal Torhall estates, her mother being queen-consort Eva and father being King Carl IX Torhall of Blaskog. She was established as the Jarlynja of Lapliszna after the country released from Blaskog in the 1990s but didn't take control the throne until 2014 on her 18th birthday. The Jarlynja was before she held the throne was held by regency council made up of military officers. She is a popular figure online especially in the Norgsveltian speaking world for outspoken conservative opinions. Being voted "most popular influencer" in a Nyveldet magazine "Unge Konservative." This is despite of her being a Akuanist which is seen as a left-wing religion in many eyes of Ulvriktru and being close friends with Jørgen Bjørn, a transman.
Early Childhood
Esta spent most of her childhood in her family's estate, being homeschooled by various tutors unlike her siblings who was sent to private schools by her parents. According to her messages on Pigeon, she describe her parents decision. Spending most of her childhood away from the public, she spend a considerable amount of her free time online. Mostly playing games and media imported from Vakrestrender. On one of her few public trips, she visited the Vakrestrender on her 14th birthday where she met Jørgen Bjørn during her vacation. The two became friends, having several hobbies in common.
Beyond her friendship with Jørgen, very little is known about her childhood outside of the her occasional mentions on Pigeon. She has spoken about how her father raised her stating he was tough but a fair father with a big heart. Noticeably she rarely speaks about her mother, despite stating in several messages on Pigeon that her mother quite involved in her education.
During her teenage years, she spent time near a Blaskovian bat conservatory near the family's estate. She spent considerable amount of time of observation the Borean Bat population, a endangered species local to Borea. Becoming advocate for the endangered species and advocating for bat watching at a early age. Such was her commitment to the species, she went openly against her parents wishes and gotten a Tattoo below her eye of the bat. While she rarely is seen outside of the estate, she has been spotted at several fund raisers events for the habits of the bats along side Jørgen Bjørn.
Enshrinement and Accession
When Lapliszna was released from the Blaskog in 1990, it was established that the youngest child of Torhall family would inherited the Jarldom. As such, when she was born she inherited the realm and was trained for the role. She holds two positions in Lapliszna, one as the Jarlynja and one as the shrine for the Nystapi spirit of the Shepherd of Reindeer (Gjeteravrein). The spirit she enshrined with, is considered to be a great important for Nystapi people. As it is the spirit for the mother-spirit or Shepherd of the reindeer, which acts as guardian or protector the reindeer herds the Nystapi people depends on.
Accession
On 9th of April on 2014, Esta became the Jarlynja of Lapliszna during a coronation ceremony in Neylapdor, the capital Lapliszna. The ceremony only had a small group of people, primary made up of military officers from Lapliszna and handful of native Nystapi elders as well Jørgen Bjørn. Neither of Esta's parents was at the coronation ceremony, when questioned about the issue. Esta stated "My father was incredibly busy during month and simply couldn't make it." She has made no further statements on the issue, nor gave a statement for why her mother was not present for the ceremony.
Enshrinement
Esta was enshrined with Gjeteravrein, on 15th of April on 2014. The ceremony was again very small, only including Nystapi elders, military officers and Jørgen Bjørn. She was given the title "The protector of Reindeer" at her enshrinement.
