Durentrus is the least known of all Ethaln nations. Plains and temperate deciduous forests dominate the landscape. The major cities are also cluster-hubs for other small cities and towns around it, with a small rural population, many farmers thrive. Durentrus is fertile, and generally placed at a slightly higher altitude to Sarentria and Vothetria.
Some of the Zycannes spill into its northern border with Staynes. The quarrying business is a huge sector in Durentrus. Durentrus has the smallest population of all Ethaln nations with 12,560,142 people as of 2020. In contrast with the Ethalns it has the highest GDP per capita at $27,250.
Alongside Vothetria, Kothalria and Sarentria, Durentrus was influenced by the political style of Great Morstaybishlia after the Auroran-Pacific War saw the fragmentation of Ethalria (Republic). Its Prime Minister is Harelda Jarmisch of the Durentrus Labour Party who won a snap election held in March 2018, merely five months from the nations original government, to win against the First Prime Minister Millicent Verdaka, who helmed the Conservative Party at the time.
The Durentrian military budget in 2020 was 0.8 percent of its Gross Domestic Product, or 2.73 billion KRB.
