It was a important stop for many Akuan merchant fleets trading various goods between various points on the Arcturia including the rivers and towards the sea. It was founded by collection of trade fleets, leaving a three trade ships to settle the area to establish the settlement and the other trade fleets funding the early days of the project. The settlement grew largely as Concordian Akuanists joined the settlement for the growing fishing industry and farming lands.
