Vessarlian

Vessarlian, officially the United Socialist States of Vessarlian, is a medium sized nation located in the continent of Gondwana, it borders the United Order Republic to the west and West Cerdani to the east, there is also a thin inland lake separating Vessarlian and Arkalarius, with Vessarlian bordering the lakes western shore. The country is a Social Democracy currently governed by Prime Minister Roderick Lockwood.

The first instance of Vessarlian was formed around 400 AD when the first Southern Vulpines traveled from Yasteria Major across the South Concordian Ocean to Gondwana, where they founded the Kingdom of Cerasalia, named in commemoration of their former leader King Cerasale. The Vulpines fled Yasteria after a human militia, who saw the Vulpines as an inferior species, began raiding settlements and massacring thousands of native Vulpines. During the siege of Asrale the citizens began fleeing the city via boat after the great city's walls were toppled by the besiegers. King Cerasale, along with a handful of his bodyguards, made their final stand against the humans, giving the population just enough time to flee, before watching their King be cut down by a storm of arrow fire.
