The Verde Street Boys was a Phoenixian gang formed in the 1900s by Amedeo Svedesi, a small-time criminal operating in the streets of Redows, Afragola. The gang was named after the street where Svedesi grew up, and quickly established a reputation for violence and intimidation.

History

The Verde Street Boys were originally formed in the late 19th century as a group of young men from the working-class neighborhoods of Afragola. They engaged in petty crime, such as theft and extortion, in order to survive in the impoverished area. Over time, the group grew in size and power, becoming a major player in the Afragolan underworld.

In 1910, Amedeo Svedesi retired and handed over control of the Verde Street Boys to his protege, Salvatore La Rosa.

Under Salvatore's leadership, the Verde Street Boys became more organized and violent. They began to engage in large-scale theft, extortion, and racketeering, often using brutal tactics to maintain their control over their territory.

Salvatore also expanded the gang's influence beyond Afragola, establishing connections with other criminal organizations throughout Phoenixia.

Activities and Crimes

The Verde Street Boys were involved in a wide range of criminal activities, including extortion, robbery, and murder. They were also known to operate illegal gambling and prostitution rings, and had ties to several other criminal organizations in Phoenixia.

Plaza Verde massacre

The Verde Street Boys' reign came to an end in 1928, when Vincenzo Marmotta ordered the Plaza Verde Massacre, in which dozens of Verde Street Boys members were killed in a brutal attack. The massacre effectively ended the Verde Street Boys' power in Afragola, and many of its surviving members were forced into hiding or fled the state altogether
