The Varg (Ulvrikian: Fenrir Varger) is a large canine native to Concord, with there being several different subspecies of Vargs existing on Urth. Predominantly found in mountainous regions mainly within the Jotunheim mountain range in the Ulvrikia region. They are considered an endangered species with only around 5,000 estimated to living on Concord. With over thousand being in captivity for cultural and spiritual purposes. Vargs having been almost hunted into extermination, with the species being seen as evil within the Ulvriktru faith. Though the vargs population is protected mostly as result of being considered an sacred animal among the native tieflings within Concord.
