Together

"Together" is the national anthem of Nagato. The song was commissioned by Former Grand Duke William for the opening of the Nagato Royal Palace in Greenwood, Nagato. The song is originally a Genesi fight song by Fumie Akiyoshi, lyrics by Akiyoshi and Rie, composed by Rie, and arranged by Jun Ichikawa. William loved how unique the song was and demanded it was used. Hiltonium, a Genesi/Nagatoian translator, was hired to translate "Together" from Genesi to Codexian. The Codexian version was first sung by Nagatoian performer Roux at the Palace opening in 1951. Multiple Codexian versions ensued, with Fé van Kessel's version in 2007 gaining the most popularity, eventually serving as the basis for the official version enacted by Former Grand Duke Daniel in 2008. The Genesi version remains unaltered.

"Together" had served as a de facto national anthem since 1951, officially becoming the country's national anthem on 4 February 1960 after William died from heart and kidney failure on 2 February 1960. Today, 4 February is known as Together Day in Nagato.
