The '''2017 Tretridian federal election''' was held on January 18, 2017. The incumbent SDÞ-ADÞ government under [[Eoforwine Æthelstanson]], which took over after Æthelred Wulfricson was removed from power, won an increased majority, while the scandal-ridden LDP lost nearly half of its seats.
The election was held after the Witan was dissolved early due to Wulfricson's removal by motion of no confidence and the creation of Æthelstanson's caretaker government.
