Shano Tuvria is the current Premier of the Tavari Union, elected in 2018. Prior to serving as Premier, he was Leader of the Opposition for one term and Minister of Foreign Affairs for two terms under two different Premiers. He is considered to be the primary architect and diplomatic force behind the Good Harbor Agreement, which saw Bana and New Rania admitted into the Tavari Union as co-equal federal states with Tavaris. He also oversaw a normalization of relations with the Acronian Empire and brought the Tavari Union into the Alliance of Northwest Gondwana.

As Tavari Foreign Minister, he negotiated a defense agreement with Asendavia in 2009, in response to Acronis joining the Union of Commonwealth Alliances. In his time both as Foreign Minister and Premier, Tuvria has emphasized the importance of the strategic alliance with Asendavia as a counterweight to growing Acronian diplomatic power, and has also advocated for stronger trade relationships with Asendavia as well. Tuvria has generally been a popular politician, though his political standing is seen to have taken a hit due to the perceived Acronian "betrayal" of the nascent detente with the announcement of their nuclear program.

Tuvria has served as an Assembly Member for the constituency of Ratani-Southern Šonai since its creation in 1994. Ratani, a city in central Tavaris, is Tuvria's hometown and place of birth.
