The Schutzeinheit (SZ), literally Protection Force, was the Vothetrian Workers' Party's original paramilitary force. It played a significant role in Clauzia Sarohart's rise to power in early 2019. Its primary purposes were providing protection for VWP rallies and assemblies, disrupting the meetings of opposing parties, fighting against the paramilitary units of the opposing parties, especially the Red Front of the Socialist Party of Germany (Vöhmian Sozialistische Partei; VSP).

The Schutzeinheit was superseded by the Blitzkraft in late July 2019.
