Roleplay Guidelines

These rules apply to {RPG NAME} and were enacted on {DATE OF RPG FOUNDING}. By joining our RPG and roleplaying with us, you automatically agree to these rules. Be aware that the rules may periodically change. All changes will be announced; however, it is ultimately your responsibility to remain abreast of any changes. Thank you for reading carefully!

Essentials

1. Roleplayers at {RPG NAME} agree to respect their fellow roleplayers. Insulting, cursing, harassing, or otherwise attempting to or causing harm to another player will result in immediate and severe consequences.
2. Roleplayers agree that "bad" roleplay (as defined and outlined in this Bad Roleplay Guide -- including but not limited to powerplay, godmodding, and metagaming) may not occur at {RPG Name}.
3. {RPG NAME} has a rating of {G/PG/PG-13/R/M/NC-17}.
4. We {do not have a word minimum/have a word minimum of {###}}. We ask for {#} of paragraphs per post. Proper grammar and spelling are required.

Joining

1. Please register as {FORMAT}.
2. An application {is/is not} required to join. You can find the application in the game application forum.
3. {RPG Name} considers itself a {beginner/intermediate/advanced} roleplaying game. As such, good spelling and grammar in your application are required.
4. Refusal to work with the administration to fix application errors may result in a roleplayer being unwelcome to join.

Setting

1. {RPG NAME} is set in {YEAR}, {PLACE}, {UNIVERSE}. Characters should be appropriate to this setting in application and once roleplaying in the game as a part of good roleplay realism.
2. The time of our roleplay advances {as normal real life time/every hour as a day/whatever system you have implemented for timing}.

Characters

1. Characters are limited to {SPECIES}.
2. Rolelayers are limited to {#} characters until they achieve {REQUIREMENT}.
