Nancy Delores Smith (31 December 1965) is a Caltharusian politician who has served as leader of the Liberal Party since 2013, succeeding Susary Child. Smith also serves as MP for Karagow since 2019, a constituency that was once held by former Liberal Prime Minister Alton Kresjarl. Under her party leadership the Liberal party saw large reform, and in the 2019 General Election she led her party back into the House of Representatives with 27 seats, the most seats the party has had since the 1986 General Election.
Smith served as Member of Parliament for Murgant-on-Sea, Aeternum between 1998 and 2012 where she was defeated. Smith blamed her defeat on the continual neglect of the party by leaders Stephen Partsons, Robb Johannes and Richard Klemmar, later taking over party leadership. She sought re-election to a more Liberal oriented seat than her former constituency, and won over her Labour counterpart Jane Organ.
