The National Centre Party (Norgsveltian: Nasjonale Senterpartiet) frequently abbreviated to NCP is considered a Centre to Centre right party in Norgsveldet. It is the current ruling party of Norgsveldet under the leadership of Prime Minister Johanna Sverdrup. It is the oldest party in Norgsveldet, the party advocate for economic liberalism, tax cuts, increased military spending and cuts on social spending. The party has held an dominant position in Norgsveltian politics for the last 23 years. Under the leadership of Johanna Sverdrup the party won the election of 2016 with it being first time in several decades that the NCP was avaible to form majority government on its own, though by the 2020 election the party lost majority in the parliament once more. With promises of ensuring Norgsveldet's would stay a large geopolitical power and far more agressive foreign policy, a turn away from the more moderate political factions in the party.
