The Federated Kingdoms of Briaklandr-Maankijkeland , abbreviated as BM or B-M, and often informally known by the exonymic portmanteau of Maanbriak is a Gondwanan state comprising of the two constituent entities of Briaklandr and Maankijkeland. The nation resides on the North-eastern quadrisect of the continent, sharing a long land border with Durdanini, as well as a relatively close maritime border with Great Morstaybishlia, due to the nation's islands having some proximity to the overseas territory of Saint Matilda.
The nation was formed during the Concordian Cold War, as continual tensions between Vistaraland and Durdanini brought concern that the region would become a battleground for a proxy war between the SH-backed Durdish and the two colonist-ran states. The unification brought about a system in which the two states acted autonomously in many areas, with much of the forces keeping the nation together remaining external to this day, via both the push factor of Durdanini and the influence of both Vistaraland and Norgsveldet being deemed by most to be a necessity for the state to function in its current duality.
